Actually per the aweful SCOTUS decision a couple of years back, they can’t discriminate against students for “sexual orientation” or any other class of people protected by the school’s anti discrimination policy.
Essentially the anti discrimination policies of state schools now trump the First Amendment right of free assembly.
Now lets see some conservative Christians join and take over the group just to piss them off.

Unfortunately, conservatives don’t tend to play these games. If this was a christian group making a fraternity, you could guarantee that liberals would be lined up 100 deep to harass this group non-stop. Plus, anybody messing with a muslim group might end up dead.
