Why stop at $15 an hour? Why not $100?

Look for lot’s of pricey quarter pounders. Hey dolts! It’s not just the fast food places that pay min wage. Nobody I’ve noticed has had a gun to their head to work there. I applaud the young folks who DO work there since a lot of their fellow youts think it’s beneath them to work these jobs.

Seattle is a lib city. They’ll vote for it and the same idiot libs will leave the place and go somewhere else where their liberal retardity will ruin another red city or state.

Madness - The inmates running the asylum with the massive ignorance in the us population they'll probably vote for it. Then every business in the city that relies on minimum wage workers will fail and jobs will be lost.

Is there one or more Boeing plants within these city limits? Does the various union contracts have the common escalator clause that matches the minimum wage when it moves up?
I understand that there is more land available down in South Carolina, Boeing.

I really hope this passes. Only then will these idiots see the impact of doing something this stupid. I used to have more-or-less weekly debates with a sociology prof I used to teach with, often on economic topics. She would eventually wind up in a position where she had to admit she was wrong. She always did the same thing: “Well...that may be, but I don’t believe it” whereupon she would stomp off to her office. The clowns behind this position are the same: They won’t believe it even when they see new business formations fall to zero in their city, and a flood of new under trained and under qualified workers migrate to their town.

Small businesses will exit SeaTac in droves. The loss in sales tax and B&O tax will destroy the city. Karma.

Sure - and then how many people will be out of work and how many businesses closing down and how much tax revenue will they loose. Unintended consequences.

Nah, won’t happen. Judges will prevent businesses from moving or closing,by court order.

Go for it SeaTac voters (the entire west coast it so liberal that it keeps me away)!!!!
I eagerly await your implementation of a $15 min wage - or a $100 living wage - so the rest of the idiotic idolatrous nation can see the results in REAL TIME, not just theoretically.

No Boeing plants or offices that I know of in Seatac. The town is only 10 sq. miles. in area.

This is a good way for Lilly white liberals to be able to drive blacks out of their city without losing their liberal street cred.

SeaTac is where the Seattle Tacoma airport is. Lots of food vendors, gift shops, hotels, and Somali rent a car shuttlers. I guess all of these will shut down. Peeps will have to be sure to bring their own sandwiches, beverages, reading material, and not plan on buying any little gifts in the airport.
