China doesnt usually get involved in these confrontations. Wonder why they are willing to this time? Qaddafi had sold oil futures to the Chinese, they outbid the French and Italians that had a lock on Qaddafi's oil, previously.
China never got their oil, Obama's rebel buddies tried to cut rate it to France, but most is out of production and pirated now.

However, Iran is a red line for China, they can’t have their oil supply dictated by Saudi Arabia.
