Rep. Justin Amash, an outspoken opponent of U.S. intervention in the Syrian civil war, has taken to Twitter to voice his opposition to military intervention. Concurrently, the Michigan Republican warns the American people of misleading claims being made by the Obama administration.
Amash noted that he attended a classified briefing in which evidence for the limited attack on Bashar al-Assad’s Baathist dictatorship was presented to legislators who are now debating a war vote. Though Obama administration officials hope to win congressional support, Amash indicated the briefing had the opposite effect on him.
Amash also suggested the administration is putting out inconsistent information to the public.
The tea party favorite said popular opposition to the Syria war plan, which is already strong, would only be supported by the classified documents.

The reasons behind the Syria hysteria in Washington are easy to understand.
1 Certain gulf states would like to build a gas pipeline through Syria,to market their gas in Europe.
2.Syria’s present government is unwilling to allow this pipeline.The principle reason is Russia’s Gazpom presently has pipeline selling gas to Europe and doesn’t want the competition.
3.Obama is willing to force a war to advance the economic interests of his fellow Muslims.
There is a reason they are working with ‘social media’ accounts and they aren’t presenting actual medical evidence detailing the chemicals and cause of death. No doubt the CIA and the WH are deliberately lying and misleading members of Congress, the media and the public.
If Obama can’t impress a congressman with ‘classified’ material, how does he think he’s going to convince the rest of us with his media tour and address to the nation on Tuesday? With his oratory skills? The bloom fell off that rose eons ago.
The representative better watch his back in exposing these commie creeps.

..... This sort of diatribe does not belong in the narrative for an argument for an incursion into Syria the exact opposite would also be deemed to be true.
..... By that same token using this ill thought out argument ... ‘If Americans could read classified docs, they’d be even more against Syrian Rebels! Both sides are bad players in this scenario with one exception .... what is NOT being reported is that Bashar Assad belongs to the Alawite Muslim sect which is tolerant of most religions including Christians. If Assad is removed from his position of authority ...... this tolerance will end. This is not our fight .... but this little known fact is being ignored in the Obama "Common-sense test" narrative that is now being touted by this administration and the media.
