These numbers reflect the value of the gifts we now know about.
I’d bet the sum total value of similar gifts is far far greater.

Contrast this with Rudy Giuliani rejecting $10 million from Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal right after 9/11.

I know Rudy isn’t well liked here for obvious reasons, but is there any doubt, that we wouldn’t be in this mess with Syria if he was in the White House?

They were able to steal it, because no one objected.
Shouldn’t Bush, Cheney and other “conservatives” have said something and stopped them?
It’s that simple.

The KKKlintons have always been for sale. Bill’s blatant post presidential influence peddling alone has made him rich.

The Constitution prohibits U.S. government employees from keeping presents worth more than $350. But officials at the U.S. General Services Administration said the gifts were accepted to avoid awkward moments. Yes, because if there's anything more vital than our confidence in the integrity of our government officials, particularly at the highest levels, it's avoiding awkward moments at any cost. And if our ruling elite have to swaller hard and accept riches from inbred royalty, then so be it.

That becomes US Govt property, right? I didnt think they were allowed to keep such gifts personally.
Why would that stop Hitlary? Didn’t she and Bubba “take” a number of souvenirs from the White House when they left?

I was worried that the Saudi King had given Mrs. Clinton a pearl necklace. The Saudis are muslim.
They wouldn't cast pearls before swine.
