Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this year’s Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center. The award will be presented to Clinton on September 10th, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi that killed four Americans.

...

Upon the announcement of Clinton’s award in June, Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft wrote, “Really Jeb, no one else came to mind?"

They have no real differences, they belong to the same political class.

A lot of good opinions here, sediment has changed a bit in the last several years. Still, opinions mean nothing without action...

A “liberty medal” from the “national constitution center” - is that something she would want?

Disenfranchise them by leaving the GOP for a third party. Take a chance -- the social-political cultural climate (the real one, not the one projected by the MSM) says it's about as good a risk as it's going to get. A lot of folks who consider themselves the "left" in America are disgusted with Obama and government tyranny. They just think the Republican is going to be worse.

Gee ... why does that ring a bell?

Third party time. Disenfrancise these DC toads.

I’m speechless.

Apparently, Jeb Bush has been in a coma for the entire last year. Amazing that they were able to wake him up to give out this oh-so-richly-deserved award . . . .

"The Bush toadies here do not want to hear, or believe, about the Cocaine distribution ring, (circa the mid 1980’s), the Bushs ran out of the Mena Airport, run along with their very CLOSE pals and partners in that project, the Clintons"

GHW was "Chief of the Liaison Office to the People's Republic of China", then CIA Director, then VP. Pretty well connected family. He was Reagan's biggest mistake.

She can put it mockingly next to her master's thesis on Saul Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" tactics.

Second biggest; if he'd carried through with his plan to abolish the Department of Education the field would be vastly different with respect to the youth of the country — one of Ron Paul's biggest achievements, IMO, is sparking interest in small, limited government in many college-age citizens… it's a little late, but better than never.

Saudi Arabia apparently wants Obama to bomb Syria and I’ve read they’re willing to pay for it.

It wouldn’t the first time American forces have been mercenaries for the Saudis.

They helped pay along with other Arab states for the First Gulf War of Bush 41 in 1991.

Is there really any difference between the two big parties????

It does not look that way.

If Moliere, Rabelais, Gogol, Mark Twain and the Monty Python crew all worked together for a hundred years, they couldn’t produce a more ironic and satirical novel than this last week of political reality has produced.

Jeb Bush has either been blackmailed by the Clintons or someone else or he’s an idiot. Barbara Bush told a reporter a few months ago that her son Jeb should not run for president, because they have been enough Bushes in the presidency. She knew of what she was speaking in that shockingly candid response.

In more ways than one:

“Hinckley’s father was a financial supporter of George H.W. Bush’s 1980 presidential primary campaign, although the families were not “friends”, where Bush was Reagan’s closest rival for the Republican nomination prior to becoming his vice president. Hinckley’s older brother, Scott, had a dinner date scheduled at the home of Neil Bush the day after the Reagan assassination attempt.[22][23] Neil’s wife, Sharon, indicated in a newspaper interview the day after the shooting that Scott was coming to their house as a date of a girlfriend of hers, and that she didn’t know “the brother [John]” but understood “that he was the renegade brother in the family.” Sharon described the Hinckleys as “a very nice family” and that they had “given a lot of money to the Bush campaign.”[24] This also led to various conspiracy theorists speculating that the Bush family had something to do with the assassination attempt.[25]”
