Putin Pulls Obama's Strings
Townhall ^ | Sept 10, 2013 | Neal Boortz

Well, if you’re one of those out there who has thus far failed to see the dominance of Vladimir Putin in the Putin/Obama relationship … the light surely must be shining now. In the last 24 hours our Dear Ruler has managed to show not only America, but the rest of the world, just how weak he is on the world stage.

A bit of a recap here to show you what kind of a bind Obama was in:

· Obama goes off-teleprompter (always a dangerous thing) and comes up with this “red line” gaff. He is then on the record as saying that Assad will be dealt with harshly if he dares to use chemical weapons.

· Assad uses (or at least Obama and Kerry say he used) chemical weapons against his own people.

· Obama realizes how badly he screwed up with his “red line” comment. His credibility, whatever is left of it, is on the line.

· Obama seeks help from Great Britain. For the first time since 1792 the British Parliament refuses to go along with a request from the Prime Minister to use force. Obama is in this on his own.

· Obama needs someone to stand with him on this, so he tells the nation he will seek an approval vote for the Congress. It soon becomes clear the congress is not going along. The Senate…maybe…but not the house. Obama is feeling even more lonely and exposed.

· Obama calls in the campaign team, Plouffe et al. It’s not policy he’s looking for, it’s words. They tell him to tell the world that the red line isn’t really his. Fail.

· Virtually all polls taken of the American people show strong opposition to Obama’s planned attack on Syria.

Pulling strings is a good analogy

I prefer Vlad with two Glocks making Obama dance

He can’t dance well because he has already shot himself in one foot

...it looks like America will go with the Bitch of Benghazi for president.

It only looks that way if you're swallowing the mind control pills from the leftstream media.

Conservatives really need to stop letting themselves be steered by the left. It's embarrassing.

Poot is going to put Obamas famous “flexibility” to the test by having him shove his head up his own arse, to start with.

What plan? Putin didn’t have to have a plan, he was able to sit back and watch the clown show!

Now Syria doesn’t even have to give up its weapons. And as you mentioned Assad stays in power, no Saudi pipeline, Putin makes Obama look like a fool, and Obama has to thank him for it.

And Putin has time to beef up Syria's defenses and increase Russian presence in the Med.

Meanwhile, Americans and Europeans get comfortable with the idea of No Obama Attack On Syria, making it even more difficult for Obama to rally support when he finally catches on to the fact that Putin has played him for a sucker and a fool.

Maybe Obama and his crew should un-spike the football on this one.

It looks like Putin is whipsawing Obama just for sport.

Obama’s speech tonight:

Actung: we begin our 48 hour campaign in Serbia tonight. What, oh, Syria that is. We have enough fuel munitions and money for a 48 hour full attack. Right? (yavoll El Dope). Ok, we push on just like da Panzers did once before, in Germany. (El Dope, that was in Belgium). Oh, OK Belgium.

Exactly. Putin and Assad will fudge on this like all dictators do. But by then, Assad will have the upper hand, and nobody will care.

Oddly enough, neither will 0bama. He was only doing this to pay back the Saudis for putting him through school. He tried, and like everything else, he failed. He’ll be off chasing the next shiny thing to come around.

Kerry will have a flashback to an earlier time and will negotiate a surrender.

Doesn’t Putin now get to occupy Syria with Russian troops without firing a shot? I’d think the terrorists will be looking for a new playground.

Kerry to meet Russia foreign minister in Geneva on Thursday.

He will probably throw his war medals over the Reformation Wall.

Just his way of saying "Kerry was here."

And then his amateur idiot Secretary of State opens his mouth about “international control,” only to have the State Department try to “unsay” the words. Putin jumps on it, 0bama has an out to save face.

Talk about pwning someone. Putin just accomplished keeping Assad in power, keeping the Saudi pipeline out of Syria, embarrassing 0bama on the world stage, AND having 0bama “owe” him a favor. And Putin got it all for free!!!!!

Excellent summary!
