Russia is stepping up weapons supplies to Syria’s President Bashar Assad, to help him prevail in the civil war, as part of the arrangements under which the Assad regime has agreed in principle to have its chemical weapons stockpiles placed under international supervision, Israel television reported on Tuesday night.

Assad is probably the best that can be expected from a ruler in the middle east. He clearly treats Christians much better than the Saudis and the Pakistanis.

I’ve got a hilarious vision of a bunch of Obama speechwriters sitting around watching the news as they furiously scribble out lines only to replace them with lines the wrote and scribbled out earlier.
Even Assad does more to protect the Christians than Obama does.
This is another aspect of what “should be” a component of U.S. response to Putin’s insistance that we remove our threat of attack, as a part of Syria giving up Chem Weapons.
U.S. “should” tell Putin, et al,:
“We will NOT have the terms Syria’s surrender of Chemical Weapons dictated by their principle advanced weapons supplier!”

Seriously though, there are so many battles going on, each of them important in their own way as they all pose a detrimental outcome, it really is very difficult to keep up.
I'd bet to some degree it is all by design too.
I hope this story is true. I have been praying daily for the Christians in Syria to be protected from Obama's evil soul mates - Al Qaeda.
Obama's main concern is unleashing Al Qaeda so they can slaughter all the Christians. It brings him great joy.
