The Senate is working on S. 1392, the Energy Savings and Industrial Competitiveness Act. This bill is meant to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.

Based solely on the name of this bill I can tell you that if it passes buildings will become less energy efficient and American industry will become less competitive.
