Kmart is going after Christmas layaway sales as their “Hail Mary” pass. You need at least 90 days lead time to do layaway.

Outside the 4th, I’ve reached a point where all these holidays are nearly meaningless...
The greedy fat corps would concoct a holiday every single day of the year if they could, hoping the ocean of dummies would throw more money at them...

Hills Department Stores used to set one entire store up for Christmas in late August. Trees, tinsel, snowmen, Jingle Bells on the intercom, the whole nine yards. All just so that their buyers and senior execs could come and see what their Christmas merchandising setup was going to look like.

Blame Obama. He is in perpetual campaign mode. Merchants should be in perpetual Christmas mode.

It is disgusting here in the Hazleton PA store. For the first time I saw a Prostitute walking around. I thought I was back in Yonkers.

No amount of Christmas decoration can hide the fact that the inside of my local K-Mart looks like a Soviet era commodities store. Seriously, cinder block with a thin coat of peeling grey paint. Ceiling tiles missing or covered in water stains and puke green 1970’s floor tiles.

Hallmark is also already advertising for Christmas. Saw it on tv the other night a couple of times. I had to look up when I heard the Christmas music. Sure enough....

Reminds me of the Crazy Eddie's Christmas sales in August.
