How can they be more responsive when everything is a “Fox news alert” with junk flashing and scrolling all over the screen. Back when I used to watch FNC, I often wondered if some viewers were sent into seizures from the visual overload of their annoying scintillating projections all over the set.

I don’t watch Fox (or any news) any more; but this seems like a demotion to me.

I’ll confess, I’m not really a TV watcher, so I don’t see Fox that much.

But I’m not talking about the break-into-regular-programming hype, I mean having actual live reporters on the scene when something substantial goes down.

You’d think they could leverage Sky news to provide that kind of global coverage, but it seems like CNN still has them beat in getting the story on real breaking news.

Gretchen is as dumb as a box of rocks. Giving her a show in the afternoon means I will be watching less during the daytime. No way can I foist her ignorance off on my workers for an hour a day. Ailes has lost his mind. With all the behind the scenes talent he had to choose from for the afternoon show, Ailes chooses Gretchen? Mind-boggling decision.

Graphic abuse/cgi are the prime insults that makes tv in general unwatchable, whether it's news or sports shows. More akin to enduring an assault on the senses anymore than dazzling production they imagine. I have little tolerance for it and will turn off a football game I'm otherwise enjoying after I've had enough. If I want a video game experience I'll play a video game.

They are targeting the lowest common denominator who require this sort of manufactured stimulation lest their wee minds wander, all driven by overvalued consultants they mistake for prophets assuring them they need to do this to keep eyeballs on the screen.
