"“When nobody obeys the law any longer who needs lawyers?”

There's still auto accidents, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and doctors.

Let him get a license and then start filing complaints to the BAR association. He’s a criminal breaking the law by being here.

“A federal law passed in 1996 prohibits entities funded with state money from granting undocumented immigrants professional licenses. Because the California Supreme Court is funded with state money, the U.S. Justice Department says it is prevented from admitting Garcia into the bar.

And, what with lawyering being a path to the State House, are we going to see illegals making laws some time in the next few years?

Lawyer in good standing? Illegal to even be in the country? Getting paid illegally?

Just how is this not insane?

“Lawmakers and Lawyers are voting themselves out of business. When nobody obeys the law any longer who needs lawyers?”

Exactly. No need for laws when we are practicing anarchy.

Oh wait a minute... I thought this was a marvelous idea from the headline. That they were asking for permission to put the law into practice, which would mean a voluntary adios muchachos for those who didn’t do what millions who DID respect this land did.

Another name for anarchist practitioners... yup.

Government has turned into an idol. If it weren’t, and not perceived as having the privileges of a god, this kind of absurdity would have been opposed adamantly by We The People to the point that it wouldn’t be entertained. Mercy certainly but never, ever an excuse, please. The Constitution never, unfortunately, contained any promises that what We The People created wouldn’t be made into an idol.

It’s a political scam.

They know it won’t hold up in court but the Mexicans in the legislature (calling themselves “Americans”) are rabid about pushing this.

Brown is all for it so he can score more Mexican votes and thus allow criminals like himself to control California.

If it gets thrown out at the federal level they can still say they tried to “help the undocumented”.

I wonder if Gringos who sneaked in can be licenciados in Mexico. I kind of ****ing doubt it.

Also, sounds like Cal Northern School of Law not only lets such people enroll, but is very happy about it.

Looks like that is in the plan. We already have traitors in the US congress putting the interests of Mexico first. Remember McCain's boy Juan Hernandez?

Sure do.
And we already have 2 or 3 in Congress who think Mexicans first. Raul Grijalva of AZ and Luis Gutierrez of Illinois come to mind right away...
