Lake Mary police chief agrees with angry email then backpedals
Apparently Zimmerman does not have a friend in his local police chief. Steve Bracknell, who heads the department in Lake Mary, Florida, where Zimmerman lives, agreed with some pretty intense criticisms of the acquitted killer contained in two angry emails he received Tuesday about Zimmerman's recent altercation with his wife. "Zimmerman is a Sandy Hook, Aurora waiting to happen," the emailer, Santiago Rodriguez, asserted, in an email posted online. "Your job is to protect the communities you serve, and you are failing big time."
Bracknell responded with a lengthy defense of his department, but then threw in, "Your reference to Sandy Hook..............I agree." (Ellipses his.) Bracknell confirmed the emails' authenticity for Think Progress, but later backpedaled from the remarks, telling WTSP that he only meant that Zimmerman "seems to be involved in incidents" involving guns. In the followup email, Rodriguez called Zimmerman a "ticking time bomb." Think Progress reports that Bracknell replied, "on a personal note....I agree," but that email doesn't appear to be posted online. And on Monday, Bracknell had this to say to an LA reporter, per the Los Angeles Times: "Man, it would be fantastic if you have an apartment out there [in California] for George Zimmerman. This guy is killing me."
The guy needs to get out of Flori-DUH, ASAP....

The previous guy was fired because he said there wan’t anything to go on.
Well, since he carries concealed, even when he checks out a book at the library it involves a gun.
Someone should tell Bracknell to read his own officers’ police reports and then apologize to the legal resident of that house who they put at gunpoint on the basis of a fraudulent 911 call.
If is the replacement chief, hes a black fellow, perhaps a liberal at best and a pro trayvon guy from the get go

Why should Z be any different than any one else? My chief of police is a nasty piece of work who refused to let me use one of their phones during Hurricane Sandy. I was trying desperately to get in touch with my isolated 88 year old mother. He actually screamed at me. Creep.
My advice? Call Bernie Goetz who should be able to give really good advice on how to survive media rape.

Liberals often telegraph their punches. I have a feeling this “chief” is going to have Zimmerman arrested on suspicion of something and then justify it on the premise of this statement that Zimmerman is a “Sandy Hook waiting to happen.”
GZ needs to get the Hell out of this state like yesterday.

As far as I know, George Zimmerman has been involved in ONE incident involving a gun, and a jury of his peers decided that he was the victim and used justifiable force to defend himself.
There was NO GUN involved in the Lake Mary incident (unless we include the imaginary gun that a crazy, bitter, soon to be ex-wife made up and later admitted did not exist)
I think it’s a different jurisdiction. The fired police chief was in Sanford, FL, where the Trayvon Martin shooting took place. This is Lake Mary, where Zimmerman (and/or his soon to be former wife and her family) lives now.
I think "media rape" is the *least* of GZ's problem.Cops and prosecutors will be inclined to come down on him like a ton of bricks for the least little thing.A disgruntled wife/girlfriend will be tempted to "go public" with fantasies of book royalties.And then there are the punks who,in seeking fame and/or "justice",will try to harm him.
