CIA Keeping Secret Report on Bay of Pigs

At 4 a.m. on Jan. 1, 1959, an hour when there never were commercial flights from Havana, David Atlee Phillips was lounging in a lawn chair there, sipping champagne after a New Year's Eve party, when a commercial aircraft flew low over his house. He surmised that dictator Fulgencio Batista was fleeing because Fidel Castro was arriving. He was right. Soon he, and many others, would be spectacularly wrong about Cuba. …

In 1972, the Bay of Pigs made a cameo appearance in the Watergate shambles, which involved some Cubans and Americans active in the invasion. On the June 23 "smoking gun" Oval Office tape, Richard Nixon directs his aide H.R. Haldeman to urge the CIA to tell the FBI to back off from investigating the burglary by saying, “Look, the problem is that this will open the whole Bay of Pigs thing.”

Surely this “thing” should be studied as deeply as possible. Unfortunately, the CIA, which you might think had made every mistake possible regarding the invasion, is now making another. It is resisting attempts to force the release of the fifth and final volume of its official history of it. …

They keep these secrets because our gov has been up to no good for a very long time. There can be no other reason.

Yep. Only fools believe they're exempt from history.

If only they’d made sure to destroy those three remaining Cuban fighters...

I watched that Zapruder film dozens of times, and am also convinced that the shots came from the rear. But the head and body recoil back toward the shot are a little unusual.

It’s difficult to know for sure, but the probable explanations are, small entry wound, large exit wound; neurological response; and, well, we’ve all seen Gallagher do the fruit thing.

The one thing I think we should know is that the shots didn’t come from behind. There is footage showing that they came diagonally down from the front.

That is because the shots clearly didn’t come from behind. It is easy to see that they came down diagonally from the front.

Some years ago the government released records about having contacted Rosselli to take out Castro. According to Giancana’s book Rosselli was one of the 4 shooters of JFK.

Then it must have been really double magic bullets to be able to hit Gov. Connally in the back of his shoulder. < /s >

Watch the Zapruder film, his head goes back as the impact is from the front.

Have you ever shot a rifle?

The goal of an expert Marksman with a clean shot wouldn't have been for the bullet to do the Tango in Connally's body and then magically bounce out at the perfect angle to blow JFK's brains out.

That just isn't how an expert gunman aims.

Watched it many times. The head "going back" does not mean squat. A body can jerk in any direction when wounded. Only in Hollywood does a bullet make people fly in the opposite direction.

Look at the Autopsy Photos and you can see both wounds were from behind.

Will believe what my eyes can clearly see here.

Won't believe a "Commission" including Alan Dulles fired by Kennedy and set up by Lyndon Johnson who gained the position and power he coveted.

Kissinger had to resign from the 9/11 Commission because there was conflict of interest and it clearly looked his appointment might be an attempt to cover things up.

Gorelick shouldn't have been on the 9/11 Commission and others look like horrendous choices too. People who shouldn't have been on the commission and who should have resigned when placed on it.

Same goes for the Warren Commission, calling it an independent, fair, and unbiased investigation would look like a bad joke.

Look at Vince Foster apparently called a "suicide" though there were no fingerprints on the gun.

The "investigations" find what those who set them up and control them want them to find.

So it was all a massive conspiracy with a cast of thousands that has not had a single leak in 50 years?

Just like bullets making people fly through the air, only Hollywood can come up with a conspiracy that tight.
