Russian official mocks Navy Yard shooting
The Washington Times ^ | September 16, 2013 | Ben Wolfgang

A Russian official blasted “American exceptionalism” in a tweet Monday morning, saying the deadly shooting at Washington’s Navy Yard confirms the worst about the U.S. “A new shootout at Navy headquarters in Washington — a lone gunman and 7 corpses. Nobody’s even surprised anymore,” tweeted Alexey Pushkov, a member of the Russian parliamentary foreign affairs committee.

Didn’t necessarily sound like ‘mocking’ to me.

But America has indeed become such a grotesque, degraded mess that it’s an apt target to be mocked. Open-borders, fag-marriage, trillion-dollar deficits, PC insanity. It’s hardly the country it used to be.

When I was in Army in Germany I kept my privately owned .45 Commander in my quarters, and when I went on maneuvers, or performed Guard Mount, I carried it in preference to the old and lose issue weapon.

I also had an issue pistol in my office desk, as required by regulation.

I am so glad my husband retired from the military before Usuper Hussein took over. I do have 3 family members in the military now, Navy, Marines and US Army. All fine young Christian men. It pains me that we have a muslim brotherhooder in the White Hut.

I don’t even bother with the US media any longer.

Go straight to the UK or other off-shore sources.

They include information and descriptions of the perps which US media will never give until they get the politically-correct “all clear” to move forward to together.

Too bad more Russians don’t share your fondness for Putin. Nor do the Estonians, the Lithuanian, the Latvians, the Ukrainians, the Poles, the Georgians, and numerous other former Soviet Satellites. I can disdain the policies of Obama and of Putin. I’ve no need to swoon over either or to be defensive of either. I think you’re smitten with Putin, this man who once kept the prisons of his nation full of Christians (Have you ever read the Gulag Archipelago by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn?) and others wanting freedom for his nation. Perhaps you think that’s a youthful indiscretion.

I truly feel for you and hope your soldiers are safe and remain so. I did 8 years during Vietnam Era and all this time since, up until Obama, I never felt bad about service as an option. But with him? There is no way I would counsel a decent young American to put his/her life up to risk by this Muslim madman.

Respect him for how he works for the best interests in his country

What do you like best? Nationalizing the oil industry? State-run media? Rigged elections? Throwing political opponents in prison?

"Will Obama come off the golf course to comment on the shootings at the Navy Yard, or will President Putin do the speaking himself?"

Nah....he won't even know about it until he learns about it the same way everybody else learns about it - by reading the newspaper.

If we had a million of these massacres it would just begin to approach the number of people murdered by the Russian government over the last 60 years.

These Putin fans just don’t know. They hate Obama. I get that. But why fawn over a grotesque monster like Putin. It’s like people in the 1930’s choosing either Hitler or Stalin. Choose neither is my answer. Hell, we’re conservatives. President for Life Putin is all about himself. We can still criticize him, I think. But some of these people remind me of the Obama zombies. A criticism of Putin makes them angry. Grow up. America isn’t a nation that prostates itself to a autocrat like Putin with his President for Life agenda.

Of course nobody wants Putin to be our President, despite the ‘Putin 2016’ jokes (and that’s all it is, a joke).

But he can be useful, at least temporarily, to show our frustration with the sad state of politics in this country.

And their abortion industry is far worse than ours, yet the Putin cheering section ignores the fact that the Putin the August, the President for Life, could shut that industry down and save lots of Russian lives. He could issue a Ukase tomorrow, and he could end it. But, he’s a Christian in their eyes, and possibly a swell conservative.

not seen any one angry or fawning , just their opinions, nor did this Russian mock, yet again knee jerk reactions from a headline.

Me either. I would advise strongly against it until he is gone from office.

I am afraid for anyone serving under this pro-islamist dictator.
