Russian official blames Navy Yard shooting on ‘American exceptionalism’
Washington Post ^ | September 16, 2013 | Max Fisher

Posted on 09/16/2013 10:56:29 AM PDT by maggief

Alexei Pushkov, head of the foreign affairs committee of Russia’s parliament, seized on the shooting Monday at the Washington Navy Yard to reiterate long-standing Russian criticisms of the United States. "Nobody’s even surprised anymore," he wrote, sarcastically describing the still-ongoing shooting as "A clear confirmation of 'American exceptionalism.'"

YOU are correct, absolutely. Your PR point is the bull’s eye, as well as a more obscure point - that Putin will resent some paean rising in the media on the back of his own skewering op-ed.

We just read that Putin has commissioned a public relations firm to advance his opinions around the world. Overstating can be deadly.

No kidding. Plus, with Obama blatantly slapping Putin in the face when he went to embrace those degenerate homo “dissidents” right there on Russian soil, it should be no surprise that Russia is going to get its own digs in at America when the opportunity arises.

I don’t blame them. Obama asked for this, and America no longer has much (if any) moral standing to counter it.

“When you point the finger, three fingers will come back at you.” Is that an old Russian or KGB saying?

Well....at least in America, our first responders will treat the wounded and shoot the bad guy instead of flooding the building with lethal doses of Fentanyl.

agree, Obama and his admin opened this can of worms by pushing their homo agenda, and other childish comments.

I long for the day when we get the adults back in the white house and to think they called Bush a cowboy and if oabma was elected the world would love us.

I don’t think many Americans are planning on moving to Russia. Except for some socialist democrats. That tells you all you need to know about exceptionalism.

In Orwell's 1984 the TV did watch you. I remember the part where Winston was told to start exercising during the morning exercise program......
