I wish I was a PR person. This is what I would be saying for the coal industry.
“The last 10 years have shown with the “greening” of industry, temperatures have gone down to a point where the polar ice sheets have continued to grow at an exceptionally alarming rate. If the expectation by the EPA is that this regulation will reduce greenhouse gases to help the environment, the unintended consequence of this will be an ice age not seen in 50 million years. The planet will starve and all of humanity will perish.”

I worked at a very large plant that produce its own power and sold the surplus to the local power company. I worked there for over thirty years and the last new boilers could burn natural gas, fuel oil. biomass, from timber operations and coal.
It had been in place about twenty years when I retired from the mill as a maintenance worker compared to when I started we went from terrible emissions to those that were for all purposes none existent.
The white cloud that came out regardless of the fuel being used was the same and contained no solids of any kind and was ninety-seven per cent water vapor from the water showers which were a part of the filtering system. These stacks were constantly monitored by sensors and computer controlled.
All of this hogwash is to keep us and the rest of the world hooked to those who have controlled our energy source, our supply, our research, our knowledge our price and our policy for the last hundred years. Big Oil.
These people have entire control over everything about the world's energy and have had it for a century.
What it will be, where and from who we will get, when and if we will ever develop newer, better types how much we will pay for it and they control all important news concerning it, like how much there is left.
In others words they control the life blood/ power of the world's economic life or death and it seems they can be controlled no longer, nor can they control their own greed.
I’m wondering: Does the EPA control emissions in Indian reservations? Clearly, some laws, such as gaming laws, don’t apply there.
A few days ago I saw an article on FR that somebody was planning to build an oil refinery on a North Dakota Indian reservation. Could a coal-fired plant be built as well?
