Social programs and government largess are consuming more and more of our money to the detriment of everything else.
Can’t have it both ways.

“Look behind you, Joe! There’s no one there!”
Central Planning destroys innovation, the key to a growing economy. Those who understand how to ‘create value’ are taking time off, hoping the dumbmasses come to their senses.

We used to have money for infrastructure. But now 90% goes to transfer payments. And TV is loaded with ads from lawyers wanting to help you go on SSI.

That’s it... Invest in ports.
In slightly different words, but with the same meaning... More money to bolster union jobs at shipping yards.

Infrastructure is code word for 'Unions'.
Always touting education, police, fire, high-speed rail, bridges, roads, blah blah blah.. Same ol sh!t.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
“Infrastructure” is code for pork barrel projects to line the pockets of businesses or labor unions that support the politicians.

The “deputy leader of the free world” could only round-up 300 people to listen to his harangue in a major port city? I'm betting I could get more people together to watch me doing stand-up comedy, and I'm not a comedian like he is.

That would be the same infrastructure Obama and Biden were going to upgrade back in 2009 with the $900 billion dollar Stimulus Program.
But the money all disappeared into the pockets of Obama’s political supporters and those “shovel ready” jobs never saw one thin dime.

Three-quarters of Americans think teachers paid less than they really are Washington Examiner ^ | 9-16-13 | ASHE SCHOW
"
Seventy-four percent of Americans think teachers make less than they really do, according to a new poll from Rasmussen. The average teacher salary in America is $55,000 (upward of $75,000 in Chicago), but three quarters of Americans think teachers earn less than that. Over half of Americans (52 percent) believe teachers are paid too little."
...or infrastructure?

Pivot back to “infrastructure.” They pirouette so much, they need Rahm back. Can’t focus on one single thing for more than a week.

Ever heard of unintended consequences?
Obamacare was just the final nail in the coffin.
