Greta is ok
Blowhard O’Blowhard is awful
Kelly is a liberal
Hannity is RINO central

Shep was a ratings disaster.

Faux news tacks left. CNN lite. Ailes is mailing it in.

Yeah, her religion’s a little funky, but it doesn’t in the least affect the quality of her work.

Yeah, her religion’s a little funky, but it doesn’t in the least affect the quality of her work.

I respectfully differ and fully acknowledge that my opinions are just that and nothing more. Knowing that Greta Van Susteren and her husband John Coale are a members and financial supporters of werrd cult that not only denies God but believes in Xenu is just plain creepy. Her "theology", for lack of a better term, makes her program utterly unwatchable for me. I halfway expect her to go full Thetan someday and fly off the set. :)

I will admit that she's very slick and poses herself well. But that's a skill a lot of her fellow cultists share: John Travolta, Kirstie Alley, Tom Cruise and others.

Megyn & Greta are both very smart and especially good with ins and outs of law. Greta has regular panelists on court cases who are very good and entertaining, as well as educational. I am a fan of both, but don’t women have a harder time carrying news shows then men? I listened to Sean Hannity on the radio today talk about his 10pm show, and to me it is a demotion - at least on the East Coast. Doesn’t Fox skew older? Do people want Sean at 10pm at night? Maybe I am getting old, but I like to wind down at 10.

I think a lot of Fox’ high ratings are due to the fact the left/liberal channels split their audience between all of the other channels. Fox is alone on the center-right.

I missed Sean’s announcement. He said earlier that he had an announcement about TV and radio. What was the radio announcement?

raccoonradio: Do you know anything about Sean Hannity's "radio announcement"?

Think of FOX News as a baseball team: Their starting pitchers are Greta, O'Reilly, Hannity, and Megan. Pretty good startign four...better than any other team (cable network)

However, their CLOSER now is SHEP. God help 'em. With the new technology available, Ailes will soon be able to measure how many people change the channel whenever Shep appears...

Excellent analysis, FRiend. That damn Shemp Smith will be interrupting interesting discussions all the time with "breaking news" about some damn car chase going on out west, celebrity crap, maybe even his bear alerts...

IMO, Ailes should have kept the line-up the same, sans Shemp Smith, and sans Megyn Kelly: The Fox Report with HARRIS FAULKNER at 7, BOR at 8, Hannity at 9, Greta at 10.

Most of us were probably highly skeptical when Greta switched to Fox, but I couldn’t have become more impressed. She’s a true professional. Does her homework, and has what appears to be a genuine interest in her interviewees, the issues she raises and, perhaps more important, seems to be a decent person. None of which, frankly, I’d expected. Delighted to be proven wrong.

I agree. Plus nearly every time I e-mail her during her show (which is infrequently), she personally answers my e-mail... and very much appreciates her viewers.

Same with Bret Baier of "Special Report" at 6pm...

My husband has always been an early bird. He will barely see the beginning of Sean's show now. Very unfortunate that Megyn Kelly (ugh) has bombarded her way into primetime, and bumped everyone else ("bumped" = demoted).

Everyone except Bill O'Bloviator of course...

Actually Shep’s going to be breaking in on all the programs now, as I understand it, with ‘breaking’ news.

I'll bet 95% of Shemp's oh-so-important "breaking news" stories will be car chases going on out west...

Has anyone seen the new Howie Kurtz media show on Fox? He’s a Leftie from the git-go and I’ve tried watching the show two successive weeks and tuned out after a couple of minutes each time. It seems to be all about social media which bores me stiff. Bring back the old Fox Newswatch!

Fox got rid of "News Watch"? The one with Cal Thomas? Damn, that was always a good show.

I will absolutely NOT watch uber-liberal Howie Kurtz. VERY disappointed that FNC hired this guy. Talking about a network tacking left... ugh!

If you can only watch one FNC show per day, watch "Special Report with Bret Baier" at 6pm ET. No celebrity crap, just straightforward news (with an admittedly conservative bent), and excellent panel discussion during the last 20 minutes or so.

Great "adult" show... no screaming and shouting, no celebrity crap.
