Authorities said the victim was snatched about 2 a.m. Tuesday after two armed men broke into her home in Ellenwood, a suburb of Atlanta, though the back door
"The mother actually tried to hide the two kids," Clayton County police officer Phong Nguyen told NBC affiliate WXIA.
"There was a little dog in the house and it started barking so the intruders shot the dog. They demanded money and jewelry from the mother," he added.
The mother said she didn't have any cash of value "so instead they kidnapped the 14-year-old girl." Her 15-year-old brother was not harmed, police said.

What a despicable crew. I hope they hang, and that the girl is safe. I’m surprised they actually showed pictures of the suspects, in artist’s rendering.
You will note, however, that they avoided describing the perps in the text.
Looking at the perps, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to end well for the little girl.
The article says Clayton County. Everyone in Georgia knows what that means.
This doesn’t sound good.
These animals need to be caught before harm comes to the girl. I pray they get them quick.
Lord God,
Please calm this precious daughter and show provide a way of escape. Let not one hair on her head be harmed. We ask You, Lord, to cause a stupor of sleep to come over these men and that you provide a way for her to leave. Send people to help her, Father. Give wisdom to those who are investigating. Lord, we know You will not forget her. Comfort her family in this time of tremendous trial. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Baby steps, I guess. We’ll get there eventually, inevitably. I wonder though if they included such obvious identification of them because the girl also seems to be in a specially protected ethnic class too.

An ex corker/friend’s daughter is friends with this girl...who by all accounts...is an angel.
It ain’t looking good though. I only hope that “justice” finds these predators before the law does...and there’s a lot of “justice” out looking. Clayton county LE just ain’t that good.
