Well, AAA has come up with a sobering statistic: the average price of gasoline will surpass $3 per gallon Tuesday for the 1,000th consecutive day. That's never happened before, the motoring organization says.
And NOTHING is going to get better for the next thousand days.
The worst part is Democrats don’t care as long as their guy is in office.
They don’t care about gas prices, out of control debt, wars, vacations, no-bid contracts, hidden documents, corporate welfare, Wall steet profits, etc as long as their guy is in office.
The only things they really care about: Men doing each other, killing unborn children, food stamps, and organized labor for 15 dollar/hr hamburger flipper jobs.
If there is ever a Republican (or conservative) in the white house again I’m going to dismiss Democrats over and over with “it wouldn’t matter to you if Obama was doing it”.
Actually they only care about power. They would throw any of their victim groups under the bus in a heartbeat.
Yep, had a Tahoe for the last 11 years. Wouldn’t by GM with a 50% discount. Just ordered a SMALLER Honda Pilot. If I thought gas price would ever come down I would not have downsized. It is a sign of the times, and it affects ME.
Unless you need to haul a trailer, downsizing is the order of the day. We are at year 3 of the great doubling in fuel prices. Most people who can afford new vehicles are now looking. I am sure you are not alone. On the plus side I can start to lowball a private seller who wants to dump his hog truck.....
(i.e. oil)
Until the printing press stops, it’s up, up, and away. They are shipping gas refined in the US out to foreign countries. That’s how FUBAR US markets are under the Rat RICO thugs. Invest in guillotines because the line is long.
Do you think banning exports would lower prices, that producers would continue to invest money to sell their product below market value?
Would Fords, laptops or any other product be cheaper if exports were banned?
Currently we import more crude oil than use ourselves, refine that using extra refining capacity and export the surplus refined products for an positive balance of trade. It keeps more jobs and more refining capacity in the US. It is a good thing.
I agree. I meant the voters.
Crony capitalism. How about we stop printing money, start spending responsibly, and taking care of # 1, the US taxpayer. Your pretzel logic is astounding. A fraudulent market.
How so?
How about we stop printing money
Great, but a different topic.
start spending responsibly
Great, but a different topic.
taking care of # 1, the US taxpayer
No industry pays more taxes than the oil/gas industry.
Your pretzel logic is astounding.
What part do you consider twisted in not putting additional export restrictions?
A fraudulent market.
I'm calling for less government manipulation. You appear to be calling for more.
Now you are arguing like a Liberal. The gov’t whore is you.
So you respond to specific questions with name calling.
Are you sure you are on the right forum?
If there is a word export in my posts, please point it out. Go away troll.
In the words of the immortal Jim Thompson. Go get some strange.
