All they have to do is show middle and low level income groups how much they will HAVE to pay, FOREVER....for something they may or may not want to use.
As it stands now if you don’t want to have health insurance, you can decide to not have it. You can save that money.

Whether we can win or not is not the question. It’s a fight that has to be prosecuted to it’s completion. The stakes are too high. If the House blinks on this, we’re not talking about just the implementation of this obamanation of deathcare, we’re probably talking national divorce.
At a certain point, the seceshers are going to start gathering momentum and support. I think losing on deathcare, particularly if it’s as the result of a perceived betrayal by the House, is going to give the seceshers the boost they’re looking for. I adamantly disagree with the seceshers, but I think they’re going to obtain the upper hand should deathcare come into being.

I just figured out the “pre-existing conditions” promise is not to give someone health insurance that is already sick. It’s so they will know what the conditions are. Then they will price the premiums accordingly.
