MSNBC has revamped its website, billing itself as “what progressives have been waiting for.” When visiting MSNBC.com, guests are now prompted to choose between NBC News, “for breaking news and reporting,” on the left side of the screen, and MSNBC, “what progressives have been waiting for,” on the right side. “Want a sneak-peek at the new MSNBC.com?” the prompt asks. The ratings numbers are even worse now, but earlier this year MSNBC viewership averaged 961 TVs per city population of 500,000.
They are an annoyance but hardly a worry.
Our so-called representatives should bust up these ridiculous cable and satellite bundling schemes and enforce a la carte channel subscriptions. MSNBC would wither and die, along with global warming pseudoscience channels and other dross.
