The Gigolo signed it.

So the jokester signed a joke.

Does that not make it a joke?

In any case, no one gives a smelly Obama about the U.N. anyway.

When you have a Muslim President and a Traitor as Secretary of State, there was never any doubt the Treaty would be signed.

Getting it Through the Congress is another thing.

Enforcing it could start a Civil War.

“Getting it Through the Congress is another thing.”

Either they won’t try, or they’ll wait until the Senate is empty, then follow the constitution:

“He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.”

As long as 2/3 of the senators present vote yes. So if four are present and three vote yes...

This is nothing to sneer at: Obama will treat this as LAW, regardless of what the Senate does.

“Enforcing it could start a Civil War.”

I sure should, but it won’t as there are not enough patriots will to risk all their goodies like the Founders or civil war combatants did.

The constitution is now nothing more than an historic document which, at most, is nothing more than a speed bump for the disloyal Americans known as democrats.

Even if the treaty doesn’t pass a 2/3 state majority, Obama will enforce parts of it through executive order. This is the red flag here from all this.

It doesn't take effect for the US until the Senate ratifies it.

Correct.

Getting it Through the Congress is another thing.

Doesn't matter a bit to them.

Enforcing it could start a Civil War.

They've already started. Did you notice?

"As long as 2/3 of the senators present vote yes. So if four are present and three vote yes..."

With respects...

Marbury v. Madison

It is also not entirely unworthy of observation that, in declaring what shall be the supreme law of the land, the Constitution itself is first mentioned, and not the laws of the United States generally, but those only which shall be made in pursuance of the Constitution, have that rank.

Thus, the particular phraseology of the Constitution of the United States confirms and strengthens the principle, supposed to be essential to all written Constitutions, that a law repugnant to the Constitution is void, and that courts, as well as other departments, are bound by that instrument.

18 USC § 2382 - Misprision of treason

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States and having knowledge of the commission of any treason against them, conceals and does not, as soon as may be, disclose and make known the same to the President or to some judge of the United States, or to the governor or to some judge or justice of a particular State, is guilty of misprision of treason and shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than seven years, or both.

18 USC § 2384 - Seditious conspiracy

If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.

I think that about covers it....

We need a strong, intelligent, patriotic, constitution-loving WOMAN to explain to FEMALES that their love for 0bama, Kerry, etc., is based on STYLE not SUBSTANCE.

Today's Democrats are DEMONS. They hate America and that's why they are changing it. This is what 'CHANGE' meant. 0bama, Kerry, etc., are MARXISTS who are hellbent on enslaving us to a tyrannical gov't. Why do the LIV's not care about this? Palin needs to get on TV and set the LIV's straight! Palin needs to get even more BLUNT and call her female LIV 'sistas' out for their MISGUIDED BELIEFS about the DemonRat party.

Unless Palin can succeed at awakening the majority female voter base, America's goose is COOKED.
