Indeed. I think rednecks are much like puppies.
Sure they are quite frequently irascible, even a bit rough at the margins some might say; and yes, often they will urinate on yer furniture or perhaps--- in a careless, frenzied spree-- destroy your new handmade Italian sofa...but with proper care and feeding they can eventually morph into sturdy allies when the chips are down.
