Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday that he believes his daughter, 33-year old Chelsea Clinton, has the potential to one day be a better president than his wife, former New York senator and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
In an interview set to run late Wednesday on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live, Clinton was asked by the host who he thought would make a better president – his wife Hillary, or his daughter Chelsea.
“Day after tomorrow, my wife because she’s had more experience,” he said. “Over the long run, Chelsea. She knows more than we do about everything.”
Clinton lauded his daughter’s intelligence, saying he feels like he’s “going to school every day when we have conversations.”
Hillary Clinton is far and away the frontrunner to be the Democratic presidential nominee in 2016, although she hasn’t said whether she’ll run. On Wednesday, Bill Clinton declined to answer that question.

If Chelsea would be better, then Hillary would be really, really bad. I know how hard it is for parents to be honest about their children. Take for example all the mothers of murderers who talk about what a good son they have. But Bill’s statement about Chelsea is beyond absolutely ridiculous.
Set the bar low enough and anything’s possible.
