Call the RNC or DNC and ask for numbers where an Elitist will answer their phones.

Ya think the Congressional debris only represent themselves? You now have proof positive that they’re power-hungry, self-serving, waste.

When I have something to say that I want them to hear, I fax them in sharpie hand written poster sized, short and sweet and to the point, and sign it. I fax their DC offices. I can’t think of any better way than appearing in person.

Shades of the politicians turning off their fax machines when Obamacare first came up.

Ohio Ping - BOOKMARK

Just tried Senator Portman’s Washington office and his Cincinnati office. Both went to voice mail. Seems our elites don’t particularly want to hear from us.

Because he is as limp as a wet noodle. I contacted his office weeks ago and got the standard reply, I am against OC. Now when the rubber hits the road he is nowhere to be found. No social media, nobody answering the phone. Primary his sorry ass.

Here are posts of mine (from first thing this am on the daily Quinn&Rose Radio Show FR thread) on my experiences yesterday calling Sens Toomey & Casey (PA).

Please excuse typos & weird syntax (really early am posting time and made from cell phone):

Good morning n’@!

Well I (somehow) got thru to both Toomey & Casey PGH offices.

First Casey, a very SMUG sounding young man took my call. I have his name but won’t post it here. I’m a compassionate conservative. When I questioned if Casey supported ObamaCare he went into an obviously written spiel on all the BENEFITS of it; when I said our premiums rose he went into another spiel on insurance co “greed” and why we NEED democratic solutions in DC. Now my blood was boiling. I asked if Casey would support the Grassley amendment to place Exec/Leg branches onto ObamaCare. He said he did not know how the Senator would vote, BUT that his situation was NO different than my employer funded insurance and I pointed out that NO ONE subsidized OUR premium increase, and he told me ONCE AGAIN how OCare would alleviate all of that.

I then thru a curve ball and asked about the EPA head appointment and Casey stand on Obama closing down coal fired plants. I caught him flat footed. I discussed (actually schooled him!) on Joe Manchin DEFENDING coal and he could not comment to WHY Manchin does what he does but Sen. Casey “thoughtfully” considers all sides of the issues, and as to how they affect ALL Pennsylvanians (hitting my commen about coal in sw PA). I did get a crack in a out Casey running on his family’s coal minor (Scranton) history. That was a tiny “gotcha” for me.

I signed up for his newsletter; and this took forever to type on my phone. Will be back later for my Toomey PGH office call.

(Second post:)

The Casey call was frustrating but NOT all that much different from my Toomey. Admittedly, I got thru close to 3pm, so called fatigue may have been an issue.

The female who answered the phone first had to ask my zip code, THEN asked what city/township I lived in (are they getting troll caller?). I got her to confirm that Toomey IS AGAINST ObamaCare, but he also is concerned about the impact of a govt shutdown. I asked why? Again, a flat footed response of military, benefit payments (which is total BS) yada yada would be STOPPED. I asked about the Grassley Amendment and she admitted she did NOT know Toomey’s position. I told her I wanted to express my intention that he vote FOR the Grassley amdmnt. She noted my opinion.

I did not venture into coal w/her.

I will say, they over my many years of calling Senators offices that the Specter staff in PGH was ALWAYS versed in how the Snarlin one would vote or approach a vote. That NEITHER office yesterday could give a yes or no on the Grassley Amendment is inexcusable (IMO). Shows me NOT much difference between the two on ALOT of issues.

Now to any non Q/R regular thread posters who see this on the “Latest Posts” page, and you feel the need to tell me of Toomey’s great “conservative” rating SAVE IT! I’m not interested in “defense of Toomey” interaction. He has DISTANCED himself from the Tea Party and is waaaay too cozy now w/leadership in DC. All I needed to verify my guy reaction to Toomey’s time in the Senate was confirmed the night of the Rand Paul filibuster. Whilst other Tea Party Senators were taking their turns assisting Paul by asking lengthy questions, Toomey spoke for about a minute (he had to dash off to dinner w/Barry& Boehner). Any one else remember that?

Pfffft.

I now have a VERY short list of those whose words i place some trust in. Cruz, Mike Lee. To a lessened degree Rand Paul, Tim Scott, Enzi of Wy impressed me w/his support of Cruz during filibuster. Toomey is OF my radar. And my Congresscritter Tim Murphy I’m finding to be a ToomeyLite.

Yinzer all have a good day (I’m cross eyes for using this phone keyboard for so long).

I’ve emailed him twice this week. He doesn’t even have an auto reply to let you know the email has been received.

Portman has isolated himself.

Hammer him on facebook, where he's posted the party lie that he voted to defund Obamacare. Social media is going to be one of the best ways to expose the lies these guys are perpetrating.
