Ted Cruz Only Cares About Zotting Moronic Blog Pimps
TSG ^ | Spetmeber 26, 2013 | Brian Woodward

I hope that our elected officials will start to pour their efforts and energy towards legislation that is pragmatic. This showmanship and posturing from the junior senator from Texas is ill conceived and ultimately detrimental to the Republican party. Ted Cruz does not care about Obamacare, it does not affect him. He cares about advancing his political career, and he seized the opportunity. Can we really blame him?

Wisheful thinking. The phone lines into DC are melting. Cruz put more pressure on DC in 24 hours than all the whiners and pundits ever have.

That's what I elected him to do.

and ultimately detrimental to the Republican party

Ah, yes, the Republican Party that has always been so supportive of him. It's refreshing for someone in Washington to stand on principle once a decade or so. Maybe the party shouldn't have long ago abandoned the principles -- if they ever really believed in them.

If so, then I wish McCain, Boehner, McConnell etc. were as concerned about advancing their political careers as Cruz is! It might force them to do things the public actually likes.

People like you who are imputing bad motives to him with NO evidence are the ones dividing the party.

Go stand with McCain and Cornyn. This fight for the soul of the party, whether it will be full-spectrum conservative or a businessman’s pragmatist party has been a long time coming.

The Mitt Romney/green eyeshades accountant image the Establishment fosters chases away a lot of regular folks. Winning only some of them will more than counter the money boys who game the system for their own gain.

Ted Cruz Only Cares About Political Career

Unlike every freakin' Democrat and GOP-e RINO in elected office anywhere.

Ok then, let’s count as many Democrats and Republicans in Congress as we can who are genuinely and truly concerned, first and foremost, with helping ordinary Americans prosper above everything else and consider their own political career irrelevant in comparison.

Ummmmmmmmm, ummmmmmmm, uuuuhhhhhhhhhhh .....

Since the author believes Cruz is doing this for his political career, this insinuates that Cruz is being effective at conveying his message, and that the message has popular appeal.

Because the author is only questioning Ted’s motives, not his agenda or his effectiveness.

That’s quite a compliment toward Ted!

You are correct sir! He is being lashed at by all the right geriatrics in the RINO party! He called them all out on it.

I am so upset that I didn’t know he was doing it until well into the overnight hours when I was up feeding the 5 month old. He was over 12 hours into the speech and he was riveting.

Ted Cruz is the real deal. If we keep the pressure up and push in 2014 he and the new blood could take over in the party.
