Anger is boiling over at the chairman of the Barilla pasta company after he vowed to only feature heterosexual couples in commercials and added that anyone offended by his anti-gay stance could buy a different brand of noodles.
Guido Barilla told Italian radio on Wednesday that he would never use a gay family to promote the worlds leading brand of pasta, according to The Guardian.
For us the concept of the sacred family remains one of the basic values of the company, Barilla said. I would not do it but not out of a lack of respect for homosexuals who have the right to do what they want without bothering others
[but] I dont see things like they do and I think the family that we speak to is a classic family.

Can you elaborate? Im not sure what you mean, from the perspective of maximizing the revenue of a companys advertising dollars.
There are a wide variety of perverts from your run-of-the-mill Frat house rapist to the dedicated paraphiliac. All in all they make up over 50% of the adult population and are in strong alliance with the homosexual lobby.
This country is a rotten pile of steaming feces just like most of the planet.

Good man.
But they don’t have a God-given right to do what they do.

I agree that businesses should be able to sell to anyone they want as well as back any group or NOT .......obviously Barilla is telling the world they do not back gays or gay marriage.......their free choice is part of our freedom.

Why would it ever occur to a major consumer products company to direct their marketing at homosexuals, who are a miniscule fraction of the consuming public?Queers: "We are the 3.4%."

I see your point. But would that really influence people’s pasta choices, such that they would choose a brand with homosexual advertising vs. one that stressed taste or price?

Oh, don't worry. It wasn't my tongue.
It was a cows tongue I bought at the butcher. :)

Fantastic.
Now the clear choice for my pasta is clear knowing the fudgepackers won’t throw another hissy fit. Fags disgust me.

My British sister-in-law might go for that, but I’m not a fan of weird animal parts.

Oklahoma, no doubt. A thousand miles from anywhere, and that’s anywhere you didn’t want to be anyway. I liked Oklahoma.

Well, now that you ask, I could see the noodle guys designing a nicht-specific batch of noodles. I mean there could be billy goat shapes, the famous arab Phallic symbol noodle, donuts-and-dicks-in-a-box, lesbolinguini, curlies-and-cuties, and a hole lot more. An enterprising noodler could really “tap” the specialty market. There’s too much to work with here. I have to go rest before I hurt myself. Maybe find a noodle flavored pacifier.

I don't buy Oreo’s anymore.
It really influenced me in their advertising when they started stressing their support of homosexuals.
I couldn't believe that cookies would be related in any way to sexuality, hetero or otherwise, but “they” actively pursued that tactic.
Epic fail.
That old canard that “sex sells” doesn't apply to everything.

I had no idea. We don’t see any commercials. I’m cheap, so I buy house-brand similar-to-oreos cookies. Now, I’ll get in the way of my kids putting Oreos in the cart!

Just to say that their Campanelle is far and away the best pasta for a Mac’n’Cheese.
