Gov. Jerry Brown on Thursday signed a bill that will temporarily require overtime pay for domestic workers in California, after he vetoed a broader measure last year that critics said would have opened the door for government regulation of part-time baby-sitting.

Are these workers all “unionized” thus allowing them OT?
Yet another Kaliforniastan speaks.
It would seem that this issue raises a lot more questions than answers. Could be a huge cash injection for the unions - but that would mean all these people, most of whom are probably paid in cash, would have to come out of the shadows.
Just don’t see anything good coming out of all of this.
