This situation was created by the 17th amendment.
They don’t care.
They have already been paid off AND
they *(and their families and their drunk, swinging staff)*
are not even under its yoke.
Hang in there, boys! Go get ‘em! (Who knew there’d be a spine(s) in the Congress)
Of course, a vote with Harry Reid for cloture will be a vote to fund ObamaCare, because he will be able to pass it with just 51 Democrat votes instead of having to get 60 votes, some of them from the GOP. That’s what Sen. Cruz repeatedly said in his 21 hour Seminar for the Stupid. Mark the names of Republican senators who vote with Reid and replace them in their next primary. They are not to be trusted and consider their voters back home to be gullible rubes.
Open Revolt?
How is it revolt when you are standing true to AMERICAN ideals? The revolters are the revolting communists who are foisting communism on American patriots who have fought for years against communism.
So, to be clear. A vote “for” Cloture would allow Reid to move to fund Obozocare within the CR?
Any SENATOR that votes for cloture on the R side of the isle needs a Primary Challenge launched against them 1 minute after the vote.
I would predict tha if the RINOs led by Mitch McConnel & john Cornyn vote yes on cloture this morning, giving a balcnk check to Democrat leader, Harry Reid to remove defund Obamacare from the House CR, it will destroy the RINO group within the Republican party. The GOP present leadership will no longer be effective and will be removed from their positions. I believe the RINOs will bless obamacare this morning, but not nearly with amajority of Republicans. Cruz, Lee, Rubio & Paul will own the senate from this afternoon foward....and we will see a different game entirely from the Pubbie side of the aisle. So....what to do this morning for us good guys. Keep calling both the RINOs & the “Red State” Democrat Senators and urge them to vote “no” on cloture!!! And....most importantly, the #1 item is to go on the internet and get on web site. WWW.DONTFUNDOBAMACARE.COM...and, sign/endorse it immediately, this morning!!! Last time I checked it was at 1,850,000 signatures and climbing rapidly. Do it, right now!!! Folks, we must never give up to the tyranny that is Obamacare and Obama, the wpould be destroyer of the American Republic!!! The American people are on our side!!! Fight, fight, fight!!!

So. I don’t see Duncan D Hunter or Darrell Issa’s names on this list.... Very disappointed in Duncan D.
Those who vote for cloture have declared political suicide. They own their vote and there is a publically available record for them to beaten to a pulp in the primaries.
Fat chance.
Mr. niteowl77
The congress is revolting? They sure are...they stink on ice! (I’ll be here all week. Tip your waitresses well and try the veal!)
I find this encouraging, very encouraging. A way for the House pubbies to support the Cruz conservatives in the Senate. I wonder if Louie Gohmert had something to do with this. I see his name on the list.
I must thank him!

Wouldn't it be nice if our REPRESENTATIVES did OUR BIDDING for once, as The Constitution prescribes, instead of Party and Big Money's.
In September 17, 2009, Congressman Charlie Rangel introduced H.R. 3590, titled the “Service Members Home Ownership Tax Act of 2009” to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 modifying the first-time homebuyers credit for members of the Armed Forces and certain other Federal employees. Nancy Pelosi was Speaker of the House and John Boehner was the minority leader when this bill passed on October 8, 2009 by a 416-0 vote. This bill went to the Senate where Majority Leader Harry Reid gutted H.R. 3590, deleted all the contents after the first sentence, and replaced it with what became the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” of November 19, 2009.
Article I, section 7, which states that “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.” The key idea is that the Supreme Court recently upheld the individual mandate as a tax. But if the mandate is a tax, the PLF argues, then it is a bill for raising revenue. That means that the Affordable Care Act must have begun in the House of Representatives. And it did not.”
The RINO senators will say they will not shut down the government. A vote with the House will force the Dems to shut it down, not the Republicans.
They don’t care what conservatives say or want.
