Bosnian War (1992-1995 Bosnia, Intelligence and Clinton's Presidency CIA, State Department, Department of Defense & White House Files

2,346 pages of CIA, State Department, DOD, National Security Council and White House files concerning the Bosnian War, CIA Intelligence, Clinton Administration's policy decisions, and the Dayton Peace Accords.

This collection includes many documents that were not released by the CIA until October 1, 2013.

The documents date from 1990 to 1997. The focus of this collection of files is a set of documents which reveal the role of the intelligence services in informing the Clinton Administration about the war in the Balkans. The release of these documents by the CIA sheds light on the supporting role intelligence played in the Clinton Administration's policy decisions during the 1992-1995 Bosnian War, the worst armed conflict in Europe since World War II. Many of the files document the role of intelligence in ending armed conflict and the challenges of sharing intelligence.

The collection highlights the accomplishments of the Director of Central Intelligence Interagency Balkan Task Force in streamlining intelligence for decision makers through a groundbreaking level of collaboration among federal agencies.

This collection of 343 declassified documents highlights the accomplishments of the Clinton Administration in brokering the 1995 Dayton Peace Accords, which resolved the 1992-1995 Bosnian War, and the role the Director of Central Intelligence Interagency Balkan Task Force (BTF) played in informing policymakers' decisions. The compilation contains Statements of Conclusions from National Security Council meetings where senior officials made decisions on the Bosnian conflict, BTF memoranda pertaining to those meetings, key intelligence assessments, finished intelligence reports, memoranda, background studies, and conference reports.

It should be noted that many of the documents were declassified by the CIA's Historical Review Program less than 17 years after their creation.

I’m not sure we should have been involved in this war in the 1st place.

I’m absolutely sure we (America) should not have been involved. Our involvement gave Islamists a foothold and now a stronghold in Europe.

The entire basis of our involvement was totally dishonest:

But But But it made it so much easier for Al Qaeda to get their heroin out of Afghanistan and into the market.

You know kind of like when Clinton invaded Haiti making it much easier to get the cocaine into the US, so much easier the coke dealer Jorge Cabrerra gave $20,000 to Clintons reelection.

This guy will tell you exactly what happened (watch from 3:15 point to 5:15) .....

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqpQvIT-—c

Obama’s new UN ambassador is in this video. She was selling us getting into that war then. She talked Hillary into us getting into Libya. She was wanting us to get involved in Syria.

Clinton and his administration were telling us that 1,000,000 were missing. Then it was 100,000 dead .... then 50,000 ... then 10,000 .... but it turned out to be closer to 2,000 and most of those died after Clinton went to war against them. The dems highly exaggerated the numbers to sell their war. The media gave them a free pass.

Yes and the GOP vigorously waved the flag and intoned the ‘battle Hymn of the Republic’. I worked for one of the military services and remember the really angry pushback i got for saying this series of operations and the Kosovo War had no scintilla of US national interest involved. Telling chairborne rangers that spending a heap of taxpayer dollars and putting a lot of guys in possible or actual harm's way for nothing really gets people's blood boiling. There is so much BS in government and the armed services have as much as anyone else.

Yeah. I know that. But lost in all this is that it’s the “party of peace” ... the DEMOCRATS that falsely sold their war.

We hear all the time about the repubs and THEIR military industrial complex wanting to get us into another war but the demos always get a free pass.

It was liberals that wanted us in the Balkans. It was demos that wanted us in Libya. It was demos (and a few idiots like McCain) that wanted war in Syria.

I just grow tired of the silence when it’s the damn dems that get us into so many wars.

During this period he was assaulting those EVIL folkes in WACO Texas and those evil kids under the age of 10. When this was completed he focused his energy on Monica Lewinski!

Bosnia and Kosovo...Another dark and despicable chapter in US history. Bombing allies and supporting terrorists.
