I would disagree with you that these people suffer from low self-esteem. The opposite is more the problem. And they think they DESERVE free stuff from the government. They’ve been very carefully taught that the gov’t is there to take care of them & it’s only the greedy old white men who are preventing them from getting their just desserts.

My sister, now 59, divorced in the last 10 yrs or so, has said to me 1) she deserves health care & 2) what’s wrong with socialism? She watches Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert & listens to NPR.

I even had an 8 year old tell me, after ‘driving’ the car on a ride at Disneyland, that she would be a better driver than those NASCAR guys. Eight is awfully young for megalomania to set in! But it seems that’s the world we live in today.

Have you ever watched the audition tapes for American Idol? OMG what a bunch of whiny brat infested country we live in. IMHO it started when the commies took over the American ed system in the 1960s. AND TV didn't help.....
