Should be visible from a lot of places. Especially nearby beaches.

You can watch it at the following links.

I don’t know if it will be on NASA TV since I don’t see anything listed for it on their schedule. I’ll go ahead and throw up the link.

It’s cool, but it isn’t the Space Shuttle.

How much are the Russians charging us to lift astronauts?

This is the first "grasshopper" test flight with real hardware. The first stage will still land in the ocean, but it will attempt to decelerate and land on top of the ocean as if it was a launch pad.

Information, please. I’ve heard that SpaceX is heavily funded by the Federal govt., and that the founder is a big Obama supporter. Either or both true, and what might they mean for the company’s and private space flight’s futures?

They are ending the broadcast. I would like to see what happens to the first stage. Hope they have video of that.

Looks like all satellites deployed successfully.

Great job SpaceX.

Next launch is scheduled sometime in October. Date to be determined at this time.

They also plan a launch in November plus one at the very end of December or the beginning of January.

Can’t wait to see the Falcon Heavy launch in 2014 with the price for sending up a payload will be under $1000/lb.
