They tried a full-court press on the “Republicans are to blame” meme over the weekend and through this morning and it doesn’t look like it’s gaining a lot of traction. It will get nasty - the Dems are going to jerk wheelchairs from Medicare patients and blame the Republicans. If that doesn’t work, though, if their media control can’t frame this the way they want it, they’re really hurting.
The house should pass funding for one department at a time.
Let the senate go on record for shutting down each and every department.

I am noticing that....all these democRats warning us about blame going to GOP do not look happy! If GOP will get the blame they should be rejoicing and smiling ear to ear!
But what do I see? Bob Beckel on “The Five” just said if the gov’t is shut down, the repubs will get the blame. Except he was frowning, not smiling.
I watched C-SPAN this morning showing committee proceedings chaired by Pete Sessions of TX. It was the same thing! All 4 democrats looked very grim and dour talking about shutdown. They also were convinced GOP will get the blame. So why the sour faces? They should be happy!
Tea Party “extreme”? What is extreme about it? I have yet to hear their definition of “extreme”.
