Fraud firm gets OK to sign people up for ObamaCare

Rampant fraud on a New York City contract last year didn’t stop a major nonprofit from landing a slew of federal contracts to sign people up for ObamaCare.

Seedco, a New York-based community-development organization, was sued by the federal government for faking at least 1,400 of 6,500 job placements under a $22.2 million federally funded contract with the city.

Eighteen months later, the feds and Seedco are teaming up again, this time to help medical-insurance seekers maneuver through the maze that is the Affordable Health Care Act.

When ObamaCare’s open-enrollment period starts Tuesday, among the frontline agencies will be Seedco, which is partnering with dozens of agencies, such as the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, Food Bank for New York City and the Chinese American Planning Council, in each of the five boroughs.

“The navigators will be from ACORN, SEIU, PLANNED PARENTHOOD. What can go wrong?”

Literally BILLIONS of Dollars being handed to Radical Democrat organizers, while creating a database of EVERY single person in the United States.

This has nothing to do with Healthcare, and everything to do with creating unbeatable radical Socialist Democrat control.

Just like all those millions in wasted housing money used for Democrat campaigns, much of this money will be financing Democrat runs, too.

Seedco? Is this short for Seedy Co?

The article states:
“Seven managers at two job centers were removed.” Since they don’t say they were terminated does it mean they were removed from the office they worked at and shuffled to another one?

This is a black and other minorities operation, an urban operation. A way of giving Federal tax dollars to these people. I am sure nothing productive goes on there

Those selling insurance of any kind are required to posess a license which requires a state examination and registration with the state. Shouldn’t that be required for these navigators. ?

You really didn’t need the sarcasm tag, it’s not sarcasm when it’s the truth. Also I believe they were always in politics advancing the liberal agenda one taxpayer dollar at a time.

I agree. We should require all Navigators to be licensed.

However, they aren't selling insurance. They are only advising you on where to sign up to pay a tax. They tax is to pay for health care for those who don't pay for health care (like Congress and the Senate). If you want health care, you'll have to pay for it yourself.
