You violate political correctness to say sexual preference nowadays. That’s because a preference implies a choice is made by people, but the current liberal line is that homosexuality and these other behaviors are not a choice.

It makes me laugh because at one time, liberals did speak of sexual preference. But now they don’t anymore so as to reinforce the notion that nobody has any choice in these areas.

Technically, Dartmouth is still an Ivy, but like Brown and Cornell, their standards have slipped. A sign of that slippage is being described as “a school in New Hampshire”. You won’t see Yale described as “a school in Connecticut” or Harvard as “a school in Massachusetts”. It seems like the “real” Ivy League schools these days are Yale, Harvard and Princeton. Their standards have slipped, too, but they are the remaining recognizeable ivies.
