Tell Jason the democrats can’t kill shit in the House. These bills will pass with regular order and red state senators up for re-election will be forced to vote against them. In this respect Boehner is doing well.

House Democrats killed a GOP bill aimed at reopening small slices of the federal establishment, including the Department of Veteran Affairs, the Park Service and a portion of the Washington, D.C., government funded with local tax revenue.
And the panda cams at the National Zoo stay dark.
Obviously the Democrats hate pandas.

Glad to see that the Democrats are resisting Boehner’s nature pathetic need to cave in to Democrats.

Democrats in Congress have made it clear they do not plan to negotiate with Republicans in any fashion until the U.S. House passes a “clean” continuing resolution to fully fund the government and Obamacare. So, lame-stream "news" media, tell me again who is responsible for the shutdown......

Democrats generally opposed all three, saying Republicans shouldn’t be permitted to choose which agencies remain open and which stay shut. Why not? There's nothing in the Constitution that says Congress can't do that. And Dems love to read all kinds of thing out of the Constitution that were never intended by the creators.
