Wish I had a dime for every handicapped parking spot violater I’ve seen. A placard is a dime a dozen, I routinely see people putting those up as they pull in the spot and run into the store. I am sure there are several reading this blog, as it is a common misbehavior.
Most any senior worth his/her salt that thinks they need to be pampered has one. I think they badger their doctors, doctor shop and complain about this or that until they get one.
Most ‘handicapped’ I see walk and move fine. I see some old ladies in Tennis Outfits. My experience, purely anecdotal is that only 1 in 5 actually look like they need them.
[we will now get the obligatory “I have this/that which limits my mobility, blah blah blah”.....]
The placard are not suppose to stay up while operating the vehicle!!
