If NBC’s Tonight Show audience is any indication. Americans aren’t buying into the media’s hysteria concerning the government shutdown.
Quite the contrary, when host Jay Leno asked, “How many are worried about the government shutdown,” not one person in the studio audience applauded (video follows with transcript and commentary):

It’s ironic that Obama, who got elected because of the low information voter probably won’t be able to make political hay out of the current shutdown like Clinton did in 1995 because of the same low information voters. The simple fact of the matter is, these voters are too busy talking about Lady Gaga or what crazy thing Kanye West just said to know or even care that the government is shutdown.
Leno followed up by saying that people are really worried about the government starting back up again, to much applause.

Leno is great. Gonna miss him when he retires. He’s the last conservative late night talk show host still working. I think Fallon is taking over relatively soon. No doubt he is a filthy rat and his viewership will suffer as a result, just like Dave Loserman.
The media and the left (what’s the difference?) are going crazy over this. Oh the dire consequences! Oh the humanity!
Not surprising. They believe in big overpowering government.
I had out-of-town relatives from canada visit me in Hollywood and I was able to grab tickets from a fellow right-winger who works for NBC in Burbank. Normally, you cannot get tix at a whim because he/she told me that everyone wants to see Leno before he retires. And yeah, fallon is overrated. NBC is choc full of Rats’ believe me...
If Fox was smart, they'd pick Leno up and give him an 11:30 show. Leno would do it just for the challenge, and he'd probably beat both Fallon and Letterman in the ratings.
We had a Minnesota govt shutdown a couple of years ago-
SAME- thing close the PARKS!!!

IT was hillarious- Minnesota saved 10’sof millions every week!!— not 1 story about that- the sheeple were never informed,didn’t care — BUT- it was all the republicans fault!!
Obama acts as if the NSA and IRS scandals did not even occur. Foolish all the way to the end.
