The Colorado Supreme Court heard oral arguments last Tuesday morning in a case that could decide whether Coloradans have a constitutional right to a secret ballot. Although the particulars of the case (a March 13th Recall Election in Colorado for the Board of Trustees of the Town of Center, in Saguache County) involve only a small number of people in a single locale, the outcome (and implications for voter rights) could affect the very foundation of elections throughout the entire state of Colorado.
At issue: whether Colorado citizens have the right to a secret ballot, as guaranteed by the Colorado Constitution (Article VII, Section 8) or if election officials or other government employees can know how you voted - for "official purposes."

Well we have proof positive that the communist labor unions do not want a secret ballot.
The progressives (the CPUSA code word for fellow travelers) are on a full court press to fundamentally change this country to such a degree that we can never take it back.
They are completely confident, the union scum teachers in public schools did their job well enough along with the majority of communist professors so that anyone coming out of Law or “J” school are well indoctrinated in the communist way.
With voting by mail, the ballot is so secret that no one has any idea who sent it in.
The secret ballot was unknown in America until the 1880s. Prior to that, votes were cast by either casting a printed party ballot (the original “ticket”) or orally. Kentucky was the last state to phase out oral voting in 1891. The idea of a ballot with all candidates listed, marked in secret and put in a ballot box for later counting was developed in Australia in the 1850s and was originally known as as “Australian ballot.”

Wonder if this is related to the recent successful recall elections. Maybe the Democrats are bitter and want to rewrite the laws.
Another point: kind of ironic that Democrats are opposed to voter id laws to prove the legitimacy of the voter but are all for voters being forced to disclose who they voted for.
If there is no secret ballot then let’s publish the names of all voters and let’s find all those illegal Democrap party voters and count them out!
I’m against the secret ballot. It hides fraud. If you vote publicly it’s a lot harder for someone to change your vote to something you didn’t want.
If you haven’t the courage to say what you think publicly, then I think you’re a poor candidate for the franchise anyway.
