I still don’t know how rates can be set without knowing the risk pool, unless they are going to be constantly fluctuating with enrollment.

I got my official Obamacare handbook in the mail today.

Do they really expect people to read through all that crap?

It was promptly throne in the trash.

I had to ‘fill out new paperwork’ at my chiropractor last month. I had just given them a new set of paperwork in June as I hadn’t been there for years.

I balked, saying such. They said ‘this is new’. I directly asked if this was due to Obamacare & they didn’t exactly answer me. I said that I hoped Obama choked on his fried chicken & watermelon. The youngest member of the staff- who apparently is totally indoctrinated with Obamacare was quite surprised I said that. Maybe when she reaches 25, she will understand.

So I started to fill out the paperwork. All the same kinds of questions the caller above described to Rush. All kinds of questions about my parents, grand parents, and siblings. Questions about every single prescription med & OTC item I consume. I only wrote down Bayer Aspirin-—sometimes. I left everything else blank.

I put ??? marks in those spaces about my family. I don’t think I should be revealing any info about my siblings. I certainly hope they are also as kind.

Anyway- I had to explain to the lady at the desk WHY I didn’t fill out info on my parents, grandparents, etc.

I told her that in my parents generation, such discussions didn’t happen openly in the family. My Mother was born in 1906. She died in 1964. I didn’t learn until LAST year exactly when she & Dad got married. Somehow, a nephew found such info on Ancestry.com.

I never saw a picture of their wedding or such. I never knew 2 of my grandparents & I know nothing about their lives or health issues. One grandmother died before I turned 7—so not another source of info. The other one died when I was in my teens, but I never actually knew much about her health issues, either. I always just thought she died of old age.

All of this personal information being out in the open is going to become a Identity Theft nightmare before all is done. There will be people in Nigeria & Russia using our various info & we will never be able to get it all straight.

Good thing there were no questions about guns. Where I live, it is rural & most people are armed. Not all the coyotes are 4 legged.

Time to Go Galt.
