Defense Asks to Ease Prison Restrictions on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev
New York Magazine ^ | 10/3 | Margaret Hartmann

Posted on 10/02/2013 8:44:38 PM PDT by nickcarraway

Lawyers for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev asked a judge on Wednesday to lift restrictions placed on the alleged Boston Marathon bomber that prevent him from communicating with other inmates, or visiting anyone other than his family and legal team. They say the restrictions are "unnecessarily harsh and isolating," and hinder their work on his defense. "He is confined to his cell except for legal visits and very limited access to a small outdoor enclosure, on weekdays, weather-permitting," says the motion. "The purported basis for these conditions lies in the crimes he is alleged to have committed prior to arrest, not any behavior during his confinement."

Attorney General Eric Holder imposed the "Special Administrative Measures," saying there's a "high probability" that Tsarnaev might try to make "calls to co-conspirators to arrange terrorist or criminal activities." The defense questioned whether Holder actually believes that, as Tsarnaev was in custody for four months before the rules were issued, and he "made no effort to communicate with non-family or media" during that time.

I think he’s a patsy, and that the bombing was a government false flag attack designed to acclimate us to “shelter in place” martial law. If you look into the history of domestic terror attacks, more often than not they originate in the FBI as a PR stunt.

Let this moron into the general population, he’ll be killed within days by fellow prisoners.

True. There is honor among thieves. Even criminals don't like terrorists much, not to mention, some inmate would like to make a name for himself, by saying he was the one to off the terrorist.

I am unrepentantly in the minority on this one.

He set off a bomb in Boston. The probability is that everyone he killed was an Obama voter who supported abortion, infanticide and the curtailment of liberty in the name of bigger government.

He killed democrats. He subjected them to the effects caused by their policies. It was the politically correct liberals that actually set those bombs off. It was the professors at Harvard and the voters of Massachusetts that support demonratic policies. They got what they deserved. I wish he’ killed enough people cause them to re-evaluate their political positions.

This was not terrorism this was justice.

OK, genius at large: when was he tried and found guilty?

Did he set off a bomb? Or was he and his brother hired to position fake bombs for a drill?

The person whose hands were burnt by the bombs is a Saudi Arabian with ties to Al Qaida (13 family members at Gitmo) and somehow related to the Saudi Royal family. This guy was hustled out of the country and we can all expect he will not be testifying at any trial.

Why do we decry George Zimmerman being found guilty in the public forum, then do the same exact thing to Tsarnaev?

Why not just let him out?

Wny not just wire him up to 2500v and throw the switch until the smoke alarm goes off?

Why did Obama ignore Putin's warning BEFORE THE MURDERS?

Why did Obama allow the terrorist BACK IN WITHOUT A PASSPORT?

I think there’s a very high likelihood of being innocent. Remember the people whose words are relied on to name this kid the suspect are the same people who lie to us day in and day out on every other topic imaginable.

People who do things like Fast & Furious are perfectly capable of also setting a fire in the Reichstag.
