Yup. She is just a face. Watch the crawler on ESPN on a race day. They have the top 5 drivers in the lead at that time, then list Junior where ever he is, like 31st and then Danica’s 30-or 40th-something placing at that time. Junior WILL NEVER BE his daddy. Junior has not come close to winning a championship and daddy won lots of them. Jimmie Johnson on the same team has 5 and in the running for his 6th. I think Gordon has 4 titles. Casey Kane is young and not yet won one. But ole Junior, the face of NASCAR and the fan favorite cannot win a race to save his soul. He gets close, like last week, and he makes a totally monster bone head move and screws up just coming into the pits to refuel and re-tire. Personally, I don’t think he will ever win a championship. There are simply way too many good drivers on the circuit and he can only win at the restrictor plate tracks like Daytona and Talledega. He has not won a race this year. I think, if he did, win one last year and the year before he did not. Like since he came to Hendrick racing, he has won 3 or 4 races in 4 or 5 years. Junior, sadly, is hype, off daddy’s history. He is a good kid, but just not a winner. He did good in the old Busch level racing, but not in the big boys in the last few years. Some think that race, I think in California, when his car blew up and burned to a crisp scared him and took the edge off him.
