Terror gripped the nation's capital this afternoon after a woman rammed her car security fencing at the White House and then raced toward Capitol Hill, all with a one-year-old child in the back seat, before she was gunned down by Secret Service agents and Capitol Police officers.
The bizarre incident put the White House and Capitol Hill briefly on lock-down as officers swarmed the scene with assault rifles and hundreds of staffers and tourists fled in terror or took shelter in buildings at the political heart of Washington D.C.
Multiple news outlets are reporting the woman was Miriam Carey, a 34-year-old dental hygienist from Stamford, Connecticut. She was not armed, but repeatedly rammed law enforcement officers and squad cars with her black Infiniti luxury sedan while racing at speeds up to 80mph.

It's just media-ese. The only thing terror gripped was the sphincters of about 500+ members of Congress because they thought the People had finally had enough of their sh*t.
So does this mean we can finally get some common-sense luxury sedan control laws in place?
I guess cops are all taught this but all you have to do to stop a car is ram the panel right behind the front tire, this usually pushes the sheet metal against the tire. Doesn’t guarantee a stop but usually does.
Wrong place to get upset and be a non-threat. The DC security mindset is likely too on edge to recognize anything different in a timely manner.
Obviously the Republicans’ evil shutdown of the government is to blame. There was no money for training of the LEO’s, thus they overreacted.
The first thing that goes if you hit something is the plastic bumper cover. That one looks totally intact.
And the cop car was really smashed up.
Something is wrong, I don’t think they are telling the whole story as usual! Why would she do this with the kid in the car, she drove pretty well to be freaked out.

If you RAM another ...ANYTHING, your airbags will blow in your face. You then will have a REALLY hard time driving your car after that.
Yet, I keep seeing that she ‘repeatedly rammed..’ barricades, cop cars, etc...

They probably thought she was a suicide dental terrorist bomber loaded with novacaine-loaded autoclave steamer and white teeth, carrying a suspicious package in the back seat.
Thank God for DC police for protecting Americans from dangerous dental hygenists.
Yeah and that does not comport with “rammed the White House barricade” at all. Not at all.
This was a dumb flustered woman who was terrified when all the shooters jumped out at her.
Her subsequent actions warranted her death, but a cop could have just walked up to her and said “what’s a matter lady?”.
The cop car probably got t-boned by another cop car.

The cop car ran into an object while chasing her.
The cop was the one driving like he had lost his mind.
She was black, so there's a 95% probability that she was an Obamabot.
If she lived in CT, what was she doing in DC? Tourist? Or something else?
The media must have been pretty devastated to find out that the suspect was black..not just black..but its all over twitter how she was of “Somali decent” the moment I heard that my ears went up..very interesting..considering what happened in Kenya
