I want to make sure that SONCO does not get blamed for this. The people I spoke with were VERY polite and seriously not happy with the photos associating them with the Barrycades.

Well, there is that saying about lying down with dogs and waking up scratching.

0bama signs need to be attached all over those barricades.

Right. Blame the company for a bad customer. Not their fault the U.S. Government is currently being run by thugs. Guess it is the fault of McDs that stupid people cannot figure out that HOT coffee is, you guessed it, HOT.

I was asked in a private message about my dogs/fleas post above.

My open response is ... if you put your name on your product with the hope to generate future sales, advertise that is, then you had better think about the nature and use of your product and where it might wind up in the public's eye. It has to be a consideration.

The the seller do anything wrong? No, that's not the point. Just look at the chitstorm that is descending upon them now.

Oh, and I DEFINITELY, POSITIVELY DO CHARACTERIZE THE CURRENT NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AS A DOG WITH FLEAS. A mangy mutt of the female variety, doing it's equally mangy master's bidding.

see post above. It isn’t blame, it is an object lesson for anyone who puts their name on their product. Blowback is blowback.

Who is SONCO? The photo I saw had barriers from RENTAGUARD. I would think that those were rented.

They sure haven’t been banged around with a fork lift very much. If I was Sonco I would be sending someone to remove the stickers with their name on it

Paladin2: “0bama signs need to be attached all over those barricades.”

That’s actually an excellent idea!

I would like to hear from the Kenyan in the White House the rationale, in writing—not a glib statement from his carnival barker mouthpiece—for denying Americans access to the WWII Memorial.

This photo has broken my heart since I saw it for the first time several years ago.

This could very well be a truthful representative of standing Americans and the disrespectful government.

That being said, God Bless that veteran and every other who has served our country.

Yes, I read your post above and I still say it is NOT the company’s problem.

Blame. Pointing fingers. Example. All the same.

If SONCO’s name is on the barricades, then they appear to be SONCO’s property.

SONCO, or a concerned citizen, could return them to SONCO. Alternatively, SONCO could go pick up their stuff.

SONCO is the company. It is spelled out in the phone number.

rentaguard.com is their website.

By the same logic, should we hold Smith & Wesson responsible for bad actions by a purchaser of their products?

SONCO doesn't own the Barrycades. They were sold to the Park Service several years ago.

Holding them responsible for any of this would be like holding Smith & Wesson responsible for bad actions by a purchaser of their products.
