The Pisgah Inn, a private hotel that holds a concession on the Blue Ridge Parkway, has become a national sensation as it defies "intimidation" and a National Park Service order to close its doors.
After a tumultuous few days, inn owner Bruce O'Connell told The Washington Times on Friday morning that he had just reopened his doors for customers, despite the park service telling him he had to shut down. He says he's essentially private property, on a road that's still open, and uses no government personnel, so he sees no reason to quit operating

I meant to relate this earlier. Yesterday, I was in the neighborhood, so I stopped by the Social Security office. Had last been there about a month ago to sign up myself and the Missus.
Just like a month ago, the parking lot was almost full. Just like a month ago, the waiting room was about 3/4 full. Just like last month ago, there were about ten clerks assisting clients.
I asked the guard how many were furloughed. He did a great Sgt Schultz for me. I left laughing loudly and proceeded with my business

Usually, the Conservatives don’t do protests and actively thwart the actions of people we disagree with. I mean, most of us have jobs and we need to get back to work, so we don’t have time to get arrested protesting, etc...
However, I think it might be time to start giving these TYRANTS a little of their own medicine!
If you are near a Federal park or museum or some other national treasure, get 20 or more of your fellow, like minded friends and cross the lines! Storm the walls and move the barricades! Do NOT let these petty tyrants have the day. What are they going to do arrest 20, 50, 100+ Americans for walking on public property?
How will THAT play out in court for Obama? Are the Federales going to start shooting tear gas and rubber bullets into unarmed American citizens for visiting a hotel that is on LEASED government property?
Obama and the Socialist Democrats are going to lose, ESPECIALLY if we actually push back! My wife and I talked about this and we are going to a “federal” park this weekend with about 10 friends (they are inviting friends too) and we are going to visit these open air parks and monuments!
It is MORE than time to TAKE BACK OUR COUNTRY and OUR GOVERNMENT!
