Obama's job approval numbers are getting worse, not better during this 'shut down'. This is good news and should strengthen the resolve of those opposing the Kenyan.

How in the world does he get such high numbers?!?!?!

If people were paying attention his approval rating should be somewhere between 7% and negative 15%

No matter how bad he gets, that ‘Approve’ number never seems to go below that 40% level. ‘Low-information voters’, indeed.

He’s always 41%. This ass clown is destroying the country and his supporters are still wanking off to his posters. Damn them all.

It's irrelevant to the One. He will not be running for reelection, he's simply out to destroy as much of America, as we know it, as possible.

Well, it’s a combination of factors. He’ll always have about 40% support purely from his pathetic base.

But most polls I’ve seen have people putting more blame for this mess on Congress and not Obama. That blame is tilted slightly more towards the GOP but it’s pretty even. Congress’ approval rating is like 10%.

For some reason, the people they poll (who likely don’t follow the news) disassociate his ability to lead with this Congressional showdown.

It’s the 52% disapproving that’s huge. That’s after the Ted Cruz speech, so I’d say the young constitutional conservatives are doing what the RINOs didn’t even try to do. That would be taking it to Obama, and not pandering to him because he says he’s black.

That means it’s more like 69/31

MSM and online liberals’ BS, bluff and bluster ain’t working ...in addition to the Obamacare websites.

They own the shutdown

They own the debt increases

They own the crappy economy requiring the debt increases

They own Obamacare

In all of these their constituents are hardest hit.

If their constituents aren’t listening they’re not being deluded. IMO, a good opportunity.

I don't like Barack Obama.

People have to wrap their minds around the idea that Obama is not a very likable guy. A huge number of people are still saying to themselves "He's a good guy, and I like him, but..."

As soon as people give up on that conceit, that 41% number will fall another ten points.

The MAJORITY needs to scream.

There are MORE of us. Lots of his support are morons that would never support him if they understood what he is doing.

People need to understand tathe represents a MINORITY of the population.

It would be nice to have a graph that compares Obama’s numbers with Bush’s numbers starting on day 0 of their presidency. I highly suspect that the zero’s numbers will average lower than President Bush’s.

Approve - 41% Disapprove - 52%

Isn't Gallup on either a 3 day or 7 day rolling average?!? Considering that the last few days Obama has been sitting in the -3/-4 range in Gallup, to jump to -11 in one day he must have had a day of polling that was in the -20 range. I wonder if panic is sitting in at the Whitehouse or if they are calling gallup and threating another lawsuit...

All the more reason the Repubs should stand pat. Obama got an initial bump from this, but his attitude and actions are drawing blood from his own body.. and what happens to Obama will happen to democrats across the board. Patience is the key.. Boehner and co. are finally squaring their messaging... that movement on this will occur when Obama and Reid sit their asses down at that table and negotiate like adults... with obamacare on the table.

This, along with the repetitive reports of difficulties with Obamacare, are will continue to damage Obama, the longer it goes. People are starting to connect Obamacare with the shutdown.

Patience. Virtuous patience.
