Response to "The ACA is Law" (vanity)
10/05/2013 | me

Over the past week, when arguing with liberals (extreme left wingers) over the shutdown, I hear the same talking point time and time again; "the ACA is law"....I respond with the same answer, pointing out the hypocrisy of left wingers/liberals, and encourage Freepers to do the same...

We could probably go an all day thread with laws that used to be and laws that are today ignored by the administration. The ACA has gotta go.

So was chattel slavery and indentured servitude.

“Unaffordable Health Care law will one day be repealed.”

Freebies, i.e., ( The ACA ), have never been repealed.

The best that can be done is to roll them back such as Newt Gingrich was able to do in the 1990s.

Death Penalty laws have been found unconstitutional in several states. Throw that one at ‘em...libs hate the Death Penalty and are eager to have those laws overturned. If they were intellectually consistent, they would have to argue the Death Penalty is “the law” and cannot be overturned.

Of course, intellectual honesty and integrity are not hallmarks of leftists where the ends justifies any means.

Segregation was law too. So was slavery before that. Libs surely can understand that it is the height of patriotism and integrity to fight against bad laws.

Many libs idolize MLK, and he is famous for fighting against bad laws, protesting bad laws and even violating bad laws and going to jail - just to make a point.

It shouldn't be too hard for even libtard dimwits to understand this is a matter of fundamental principle and our disobedience and objection to Obamacare will be like the Civil Rights movement, it will never end until The Powers That Be (yes, lefties, you are "the man" now and you are oppressing us) surrender and give up the bad law.

Oh, yeah, and if you keep screwing with us along the way you are libel to get the Conservative version of your other favorite leader, Malcolm X, as we adopt his motto as our own: "By any means necessary".

Freakin' Tards! Can't stand 'em! I've broken off friendships with anyone who supports Obama.

Arguing with, and debating point-by-point with our domestic socialists is absolutely pointless. Facts mean nothing to them, nor will they ever concede a point. The only appropriate response to their rediculous rhetoric is sit down and shut up stupid, no one asked you. Also, if law was a static thing, the Mesopotamians would have hammered out a one-size-fits-all version which would have served all future civilizations nicely. Take home point... arguing with commies and their ilk is an exercise in futility. Save your strength and resources for worthwhile efforts.

I find that ONLINE....one has only to force the leftist dope...to laugh...to completely annihilate them.

Doing so in the "real world" is a considerably more difficult task.

The biggest, most obvious counter is: then why did 0bama defy the law and delay employer penalties and okay subsidies for federal employees contrary to that same law. If it is the law why does 0bama break it at will?

You might also remind them that slavery was once the law of the land, too, and it was even upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court (the Dredd Scott decision).

Slavery enslaved the blacks. Obamacare, upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, enslaves everybody!

I just say, “Slavery was the law, too. I guess you think it shouldn’t have been overturned.

Why do you hate black people?”

"It's the law."

So was slavery.
So was Prohibition.
So was conscription.

Obummercare is less popular than any of those.

anti-sodomy laws were law of the land too.

anti-adultery laws were too.

why didn’t liberals respect the law of the land then?

It’s the sodomy laws that will hit the libs right in the heart.

Heck, Slavery was the “law of the land.” Even in the Northern states, slaves were considered property to be returned to their owners in the South when they were caught.

Law of the land right there.

But I think pointing out the laws that are currently on the books, and being ignored by Obastard, is a good tactic. Go for it. Ask how they would react if a Republican were to be elected in 2016 and decided to ignore Obastardcare.

And that’s the part even the good media is missing.

There were funds to run the govt, no shutdown, and the above is the reason for it.....
