Obamacare Facebook Erupts with Citizen Sticker Shock
Breitbart ^ | 10/4/13 | Wynton Hall

Posted on 10/05/2013 1:09:35 PM PDT by Lmo56

On Thursday, the government's official Obamacare Facebook page was riddled with people expressing sticker shock over the government's high cost premiums after struggling for hours to wade through the technical failures vexing Obamacare exchanges all across the country.

"I am so disappointed," wrote one woman. "These prices are outrageous and there are huge deductibles. No one can afford this!" The comment received 169 "likes."

"There is NO WAY I can afford it," said one commenter after using the Kaiser Subsidy Calculator. "Heck right now I couldn't afford an extra 10$ [sic] a month...and oh apparently I make to [sic] much at 8.55/hour to get subsidies."

Another person shared a link found on the federal government's main Obamacare page listing premium estimates for small business employers:

The information is not very complete as I don't see anything about deductible or other detailed info, but it does given an actual price as to the "Premium." It is VERY SCARY!! For example, my insurance plan right now for my spouse and I costs $545 a month with 100% coverage after my $2500 deductible. We are both 32 years old. When I looked at this site for 80% coverage it says it will be $954.78 a month!!!! So compare my old Plan: 100% coverage for $545 a month To New Plan: 80% Coverage for $945 a month. This is only only an estimate but it is VERY Scary for me to see this kind of increase in rates and reduction in benefits!

A single mother of two said she is in school and working full-time while living "75% below the poverty level." She said she was shocked to learn she did not qualify for a healthcare subsidy. "Are you F'ing kidding me????" she wrote on the government's Obamacare Facebook page.

Clearly, the IRS needs to identify all these troublemakers and penalize them.

I really can’t understand how a low information voter could possibly be surprised about Barry Hussein Soetoro’s healthcare plan, for openers it’s 1/6th of our economy.

My conspiracy cap is probably on a little too tightly, but I think this actually helps Obama, in a way.

It helps him because I think the ACA was never intended to succeed, except in the respect of entrenching the apparatus of the law (i.e. government influence) into the health care industry.

The end game has always been, IMHO, single payer. The argument will be that the free market hasn’t worked, so we’ll need more government, not less, to make health care truly affordable and fair, etc.

shortly, any American will need an accountant
and lawyer before getting an appointment to get vitamin C
prescription.

of course, Congress will not have those problems.
They will be flown by helicopter wherever they want,
whenever they or their families or staff need.
No wait for Congress.

These people left "low information" status years ago and moved into "brain dead" territory. They don't follow politics or news AND they believe what Lord Obama told them.

One of the first people to purchase insurance on an exchange (now exposed as a thorough fraud), "Chad" claimed that he would be paying $175 per month for his Bronze Plan. Michael Cannon of the Cato Institute says Chad could have gotten an e-insurance plan for about $45 per month. He's paying 4X what a market-based rate costs. But he gets pregnancy care and baby delivery for his $175, so he shouldn't complain.

Look at all the extra services and benefits you are getting, Chad. Be thankful. Besides, you're paying for all those other people with pre-existing conditions.

This is what happens when you’re dumb enough to believe a Kenyan Chicago street thug and his commie ‘RAT pals. LOL! Like the union thug, little Dick Trumka might say, ObamaCare is “the law of the land” for the unwashed little people. Choke on it!

I think you have to really, really lower your expectations if you expect to be able to “understand” the low info voters. Me? I quit a while ago.

“A single mother of two said she is in school and working full-time while living “75% below the poverty level.” She said she was shocked to learn she did not qualify for a healthcare subsidy.”

If she is correct, she does not qualify for a subsidy. She qualifies for free Medicaid.

Repubs just need to stall a little longer. Within a week or two, the word will have gotten around, Obamacare’s popularity will have reached new lows, and it will be politically infeasible for Dem politicians to continue to fight for it.

Obama and the far left are huge supporters of the single payer system so I think your right, that is what they have always wanted..or in their words “The Public Option” which is the single payer system
